Charter Membership in White Mountain Athletic Club, Inc. (WMAC, Inc.):

2008 White Mountain Athletic Club - Residential Charter Member Fact Sheet

Charter members and guests / renters staying in their accommodations have, along with midweek access, weekend and holiday period access to the White Mountain Athletic Club and the award-winning 18-clay court Waterville Valley Tennis Center.

Current Subscription Fee:

A one-time charter fee of $5,500 is required for all new residential charter memberships. Discounts are available if the membership is purchased within sixty days of the date of transfer of title.

Transfer Fee:

Upon sale of a property with a Residential Charter Membership a transfer fee is paid to the White Mountain Athletic Club. The fee is paid within 60 days of new ownership to keep the charter membership attached to the property.

Annual Dues for the period ending Oct. 31st, 2007.

The rates listed below are for the entire fiscal year. The Club does have pro-rated fees for seasonal renters (see Section 6).

• Family (3+) $925
• Golden Eagle / Black Bear Lodge Condo: $365
• Sustaining Membership $290

The sustaining non-active membership fee keeps a charter membership current for one year. This allows the Club to provide the best in quality and service, make improvements, and keeps the charter membership in the property transferable in the event of a sale. The sustaining non-active fee does include access to the Club in the form of five free daily admission passes. These are kept in charter member files at the front desk. The sustaining fee is applied to another membership level if at any time during the year the member chooses to become an active member.

What about family members who are not passholders?

Provided there is a First Family Member ($575) in the family, other family members are allowed unlimited access per day to the WMAC for a $10 fee per person or a $25 fee per family. Children 4 and under are free. Other family members pay regular rates at the Tennis Center.

• Daily admission into the Club every day including weekends and holiday periods.
• Free use of the tennis courts at our 18-clay court Waterville Valley Tennis Center.
• Substantially reduced rates on all indoor tennis, racquetball and squash fees.
• Discounts on programs the Athletic Club teaches and directs such as aerobics or yoga.
• Automatic membership in our video rental club! Save $1 on each movie rental with no rental deposit required. Rent 10 movies and receive one free!
• 10% discount in the WMAC retail shop.
• The exclusive right to make court reservations 24 hours in advance.
• Unlimited guests anytime for a $10 per person daily admission fee, with families of 3+ paying only $25. This rate is per family, not per condo.

What About Long term Renters & Guests?

Guests and long term renters can access the Athletic Club in these ways:

(a) By purchasing a short-term membership. Charter Members must have paid at least the $290 sustaining fee. Recognizing the seasonal nature of rental properties, there is a discounted rate over the normal cost of a membership. The pass is good for 6 months from purchase:
